<p>The Grief Support Network exists to empower people to transform their experience with grief. GSN builds a vibrant community that offers programs, tools, resources and connectivity to support people after a loss and help them move forward in life.</p>
<p>Development Director Responsibilities (15-20 hrs/week):</p>
<p>Financial-</p>
<p>-Reports reflecting fundraising income<br />
-Reports reflecting program income<br />
-Reports reflecting GSN expenses<br />
-Financial Report-YTD budget to actual financial<br />
-Annual fundraising budget</p>
<p>Leadership-</p>
<p>Community:<br />
-Develop and sustain relationships with local and national financial commitment of wellness practitioners for GSN.<br />
-Develop and sustain relationships local and national financial commitment holistic wellness organizations GSN.<br />
-Develop and sustain relationships local and national financial commitment holistic wellness supporters for GSN.<br />
-Celebrate with the GSN financial community supporters.</p>
<p>Staff:<br />
-Review financial reports reflecting total fundraising and program income.<br />
-Develop and execute GSN’s annual fundraising plan<br />
-Develop and implement GSN’s annual Gratitude -Celebration fundraising event in collaboration with ED and Communications Director<br />
-Overseeing organization of special events<br />
-Celebrate with Executive Director grief support and transformation.</p>
Job Requirements
- Ability to create the “community financial support” that offers programs, tools, resources and connectivity to support people after a loss and help them move forward in life.
- Ability to create relationships with, and ultimately secure financial support from, local and national individuals and organizations.
- Ability to work in a team oriented environment with the Executive Director, Development Director, Communications Director and Program Coordinator.
- Proven project management: detail oriented, organized, see projects through to completion.
- Ability to create and adhere to event and project budgets.
- Ability to work predominately remotely / independently, which includes efficient use of technology ( i.e. drop box, google docs, email, Microsoft Office programs).
- Willing and able to learn a project management system.
